Volunteers are instrumental in providing services to our elderly and underserved community.  Over 300 volunteers work in SSNP's various programs.  Some of the positions available include Kitchen Helper, Dining Center Assistant, Greeter, Computer Class Instructor, Food Bank Worker, Meals on Wheels Delivery Driver, Clerical Staff, Fundraising Aid, and Special Projects Assistant.  If you have time on your hands and are ready to try new things, call us at (530)226-3060.  We'd love to talk to you about volunteer opportunities.

Nancy a volunteer delivery driver comes in every Thursday to deliver home bound frozen meals to the outlying areas.

Lee is Nancy's husband, and they are a dedicated team in helping alleviate the hunger of our Shasta County seniors.
