Gail Voet has been a employee of SSNP Burney Center since it started in 1979 she has been a gem sticking with the program
for so long. That makes her one of the longest, hardest working employees we have. She makes meals for the Burney dining
center, and Burney and Fall River Mills homebounds daily, she also makes meals for contracted center's like Pit River and
Tri Counties so she really has alot of responsibilities to attend to everday. So we want to thank her for all her hard work
and dedication, so this is why she is the employee of the quarter.
Executive Director, Virginia, takes pride in being a hands-on director. She works diligently
to safeguard the rights of seniors and underserved families and continues to guide her staff and volunteers in the provision
of quality services in the community. Virginia served as a delegate to the White House Conference on Aging and
was awarded the 1999 "Non-Profit Director of the Year" by the Association of Non-Profit Professionals.
Debbie McClung is our Assistant Director at SSNP, and has been a dedicated member of our staff since
1980. Debbie oversees the Dining Center and Meals on Wheels Programs to ensure smooth daily operation. It is her
goal to see that each customer receives the best quality service possible.
Janice is our Redding Facility Manager. It is her goal each day to ensure that all who
attend the Redding Center for business or pleasure have a positive, welcoming experience.
Mona is our Cook Supervisor. She is the first person to arrive each day and is responsible
for ordering all of our food. She prepares hot, delicious meals each and every day, and is the reason our kitchen always
smells so good!
Lisa is our Transportation Manager. She coordinates both the Senior Transportation Program
and Meals on Wheels driver staff to see that our customers receive the best, most efficient service possible.
Marilyn is our Food bank Manager. She works with her staff and volunteers to see that each
person enrolled in the Food Bank's programs gets the quality nutritional support that they need in an atmosphere of dignity
and respect.
Carole is our Meals on Wheels Coordinator. She works to make sure that each senior receiving
Meals on Wheels gets the quality service and personal attention that they need.
Tami is our Admistrative Secratary. She is the glue that holds our office together.

Gail is our Burney Center Coordinator. She oversees our Burney area programs to ensure that
each customer in her area receive the service they need.
Gail is the Head Cook at our Burney Center. She makes sure that each meal served to our Burney
customers comes from the heart.
Carole is the Center Coordinator for our Shasta Lake Center and has been a valued employee for 19
years. Carole makes each person who comes to the Shasta Lake City Center feel like part of a family.

Our Senior Transportation staff are a great group of individuals. They were chosen
for their dedication and caring for each individual customer. They are (from left to right in the back) Jerry, Richard,

Our Meals on Wheels drivers make sure that each of the seniors whose lives they

Our hard working, dedicated kitchen staff strives to ensure that every customer receives

Our Food Bank has a small but extremely efficient team. With help from great
volunteers they run several food distribution programs. They are (from left to right) Wayne, Marilyn and Shurla.
Our Burney Center, being about 50 minutes from Redding , is unique in that they have
their own kitchen and delivery staff. While the Burney Center is not as large as some, when you walk into it you feel
instantly at home. The staff there is warm and always welcoming. They are (from left to right back) John and William.
